Starting From Scratch
Why I’m Resetting Everything After 20+ Years in the Game
After more than two decades doing this music shit, one thing I’ve learned is this:
If you stay in the same place too long, the industry will leave you behind — even if you’ve been killing it the whole time.
Between old platforms, outdated systems, broken links, dead accounts, messy uploads, flagged tracks, abandoned profiles, and years’ worth of content scattered across the internet, things get messy.
I’ve built pages, labels, channels, stores, and spaces that once served a purpose…
and now? They’re just sitting there collecting digital dust.
So this year, I decided it’s time for a full reset.
A proper spring clean.
Not just a tune-up — a clean slate.
Out with the old.
In with the new.
Why I’m Wiping the Slate Clean
I’m not starting from scratch because I failed.
I’m starting from scratch because I’ve evolved.
Over the years:
- platforms changed
- algorithms changed
- the entire music landscape changed
- and honestly, so have I
But my online presence hasn’t reflected that.
It’s been pieces of me spread over the last 20 years — different eras, different sounds, different chapters.
It was time to pull everything back together.
The breaking point: platforms flagging MY tracks
One of the main reasons for this reset?
Platforms started flagging my own music.
Not for reasons that even make sense…
I’ve had:
- mixtape tracks pulled
- remixes taken down
- DJ blends blocked
- original tracks flagged
- content I’ve created and OWN removed
Meanwhile thousands of bigger artists do the exact same shit with no issue.
Different rules for different people — we know how that goes.
But I’m not letting gatekeepers decide what I can put out.
If platforms won’t let me deliver mixtape tracks, remixes, blends, beats or anything outside the “industry standard”, then I’ll make my own space where it all lives.
My rules.
My output.
No bullshit restrictions.
New Website. New Beat Store. New Structure.
This reset isn’t random — it’s part of a bigger plan.
✔ New Website
A home base that actually reflects the level I’m operating at.
✔ New Beat Store
A clean place to host beats, production packs, DJ mixes, remixes — without the “copyright police” pulling shit down.
✔ New Structure
Everything in one ecosystem:
- releases
- beat tapes
- mixtapes
- DJ mixes
- content
- updates
- blog posts
- vault/archive stuff
- visuals
- whatever I want to create next
All under one roof.
✔ New Standards
If it doesn’t fit the future direction, it’s not coming with me.
Simple as that.
The truth is: starting again isn’t weakness — it’s power.
Most artists hold on to the past because they’re scared to lose the little attention they’ve built.
I’m doing the opposite.
I’m stripping everything back to the core
👉 my craft
👉 my brand
👉 my sound
👉 my vision
And rebuilding with intention.
This time with:
- clarity
- control
- structure
- purpose
- quality over clutter
What’s Coming Next
This blog is where I’ll post:
- updates
- behind-the-scenes
- new releases
- studio notes
- beat drops
- remixes
- mixes
- personal shit
- whatever feels real
No filters.
No polished industry PR voice.
Just me.
Starting fresh doesn’t erase the last 20 years.
It honours them, and sets the foundation for everything that comes next.
This is the reset button.
This is the rebuild.
This is the start of a new chapter.
Welcome to the new era.
